Shutters made from Australian Paulownia timber

WSS offers a large selection of Plantation Shutters including Australian Paulownia timber shutters, which is descended from native Asia and is now an Australian Plantation timber, grown in four states. Paulownia is light weight, pale blonde timber with it’s own character grain, but approximately the same strength as Cedar. It has a magic feel like a firm balsa wood. Paulownia can be painted or stained to resemble any timber. It is easily limed and when painted and does not experience oily seepage.

WSS offers Paulownia in 14 modern paint colours and Premium Paulownia in 15 stained colours. Regardless of the colour, we use UV resistant, no odour and environmentally friendly water based paint.
